Novel Excerpt
A short little excerpt of a book I'm currently writing.
Here it is:
A fine whispering rain tapped against the bedroom window as Molly Treble thumbed through the pages of a book which was titled; ‘Dragons, Fact or Fiction?’. She gasped as an illustration of a European dragon met her eyes. The scales were luminous purple and the belly was a deep grey. The top of the head revealed two spiral horns that grew in a strange fashion. However, what most intrigued Molly were the bright green eyes that stared at her with curiosity but before she could decipher the meaning of them, they had changed to a look of sadness and innocence.
Molly stifled a yawn as she closed the book and placed it back onto the bookshelf, which stood tall with books ranging from fiction to reality. Every book a child could have wanted was in Molly’s bookcase even the most horrifying ones were their just to be read and placed back never to be touched again.
Hope you liked it ! It was only a paragraph of 160 pages, so the story is coming along nicely.

A Little Bit About Me
Hello, most of you people who are reading this probably vaguely know me, or you have no idea who I am.
For both people this is a little bit about me;
I'm Riley, and I enjoy reading and writing novels, I played soccer in the past but the coach got really mean so I quit. I enjoy listening to music, but I have never been able to play an instrument. I tried playing the piano when I was 8 but the fees began to be too high so I couldn't continue.
I don't fret when teachers hand out reports, I usually do well in school so there's one thing to be thankful for ! I'm the kind of person who says I will do something and I'll do it, unless I lie, which I rarely do.
My time is mostly spent on the computer typing up my stories, or searching my favorite website, www.broomsticksandowls.com/forum .
